Norwegian duo ZERO BATS announces their new EP «Nation», releasing October 9th.

Known for their club-infused, noisy take on post-punk and intense live performances, ZERO BATS has quickly become one of the most exciting bands in the Norwegian underground scene.

«Nation» is a narrative exploration of techno-feudalism, new-age imperialism and total surveillance, presented through the five stages of grief. From rage-fuelled nationalism, entering a simulacrum of the self, to exiting with a fractured worldview.

The EP charts a new sonic direction for the band. Inspired by 90s industrial and shoegaze music of Nine Inch Nails and My Bloody Valentine, the EP explores heavier riffs, sampled drum breaks, ambient soundscapes, and in-your-face vocals.
